If the cuts to the SSP were restored and the Cost of Living Adjustment was reinstated to bring SSI/SSP recipients back up to the poverty level, that would mean $100 dollars more a month to buy food, personal hygiene products, warm clothing, medicine, and to pay utilities and rent. It’s not much, but it means a lot to people living on the edge.
